2013 Program Analyst- Working through the PMA Connect group of consultants, provided project and program management services to Caterpillar Global Mining (Formerly Bucyrus Erie) in South Milwaukee, WI.                                                                                                                                                       

¨          Developed Program Plans; including Program Schedules and Primary Resource assignments for various New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects including three different large Hydraulic Mining Shovels, the 7595 Electric Rope Shovel, and a new Two Boom Hard Rock Drill machine, as well as a New Facility Construction Project in Thailand.

¨          Directed Project Control Meetings focused on Critical Path activities, and team action items.

¨          Requested and collected resource provided schedule updates for synchronization into the Primavera P6 database.

¨          Utilized Primavera P6 Project Management software to provide focus and leadership to project teams through schedule monitoring, reporting and updating.

¨          Compiled data and composed Executive Status Reports for project managers and sponsors.

 

Heyer Management and Consulting                                                                          

 

2011 – 2012 Program Manager- Partnered with the RGB Group Consultants and provided business services to Teleflex Medical OEM in Kenosha, WI.                                                                                          

¨          Developed Program Charter and Goals, Program Plan including Risk Management Plan, Program Schedule and Resources, and Operations Plan for Project Hardy; comprised of a plant closure, equipment relocation, and creation of a new 45,279 SF medical device manufacturing facility.

¨          Managed processes and project teams to successfully move $4MM of metal working machinery and periphery equipment from Lancaster, PA to Pleasant Prairie, WI within pre-determined schedule and agreed budgets within 45 days

¨          Directed and represented owner to successfully complete a $1.68MM facility infrastructure build-out within 75 days of approval, under budget and meeting the original time-constrained schedule.

¨          Provided Project Management focus and leadership to project teams in Operations, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Facilities & EHS, Information Technology, and Customer Care.

¨          Compiled data and composed Executive Status Reports for project sponsors while meeting or exceeding milestone expectations.

 

2007-2011 Project Manager- Marketed and provided various business consulting services.                  

¨          Acted as Consultant for small businesses doing business analysis and identifying issues in order to help gain efficiencies and increase profitability. Provided Health Insurance policies and consulting services.

¨          Provided Project Management Consulting Services on Commercial and Residential building, capital improvements and facilities management projects, including insurance restoration estimating in Xactimate software, insurance settlements, and building energy & maintenance programs.

2007 Project Manager- Led multiple project and facilities management initiatives, including commercial and residential contracts. Created budgets through open bids, negotiated estimates and design-build collaborations, conducted project pre-construction due diligence and entitlement surveys, value engineering, feasibility and constructability reviews.

 

Capital Projects Department, Village of Glenview, IL                    

The Glen Redevelopment Project, a multiple award winning development project, formerly the Glenview Naval Air Station, now part of the Village of Glenview, Illinois representing approximately $1.1 billion in public and private expenditures.

The Glen Redevelopment Project- led departmental project management initiatives with responsibilities for creating budgets, monitoring project progress & reporting, pay application approval, and submittals. Interfaced with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and subs regarding RFP’s, design-construction drawings and specifications, RFQ’s, contract bidding-negotiations- compliance, RFI’s, change orders, code requirements, permitting, and value engineering issue.
